Priscilla's Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and English is from Tulane University. After traveling around the world for several years (while working aboard cruise ships) and deciding NOT to go to law school, she earned a Masters Degree in Social Work and a Certificate in Substance Abuse Studies at the University of Chapel Hill. She has been in the helping profession since the turn of the century and has practiced in a wide variety of settings, including VA Medical Center, inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment programs, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment programs, private practice, and a university in the Caribbean. Priscilla believes that each human is an expert on him/her/themself, and she enjoys assisting others as they heal from religious trauma, grief, culture shock, and other life challenges.
