Introduction

I help people understand their inner world, develop self-compassion, and witness their inner wounding from the past (personal/ancestral) and how it impacts the relationship to self. I am aware of the multiple realities that impact and shape an individuals life experience, gender, socioeconomic status, citizenship, ethnicity, religion and culture. I specialize working with adults who have Complex Posttraumatic Stress (also known as Complex Trauma)- which includes racial trauma, intergenerational/ancestral trauma, sexual trauma, betrayal trauma—and their impact- traumatic grief, depression, anxiety, shame, guilt, anger and rage. As a cis Indigenous woman, I have witnessed firsthand the generational trauma and internalized racism/ableism/sexism/heteronormative beliefs that inflict the self. I understand the importance of holistic wellness that is inclusive of mental, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing and the importance of including the whole person when healing trauma. I am grateful for the opportunity to change the way we see therapy and I am committed to decolonizing therapy and reducing the stigma of seeking mental health support for BIPOC communities. Let's heal today!
