I want my Knowledge to provide ethical guidance, my personal experience to provide relativity, my passion to fuel curiosity, and my empathy to show up as someone determined to show you that you are not alone. "Aha is a remembering of what you already knew, articulated in a way that resonates with your own truth." A quote from Oprah that stuck with me. I remember MY first aha moment and the joys I continue to feel in rediscovery. The first visit is the most important and where the therapeutic alliance is cultivated. I encourage transparency and vulnerability. Understanding these are not just big words but big tasks, especially when we are just meeting someone. I pride myself on providing a safe space that clients can return to however often and necessary to openly examine themselves without judgment. Life is unpredictable, so I would challenge the idea of a typical session. My process involves focusing on the client and what is coming up for them at that moment, so hopefully, a typical session would be comfortable. All that is required is that the client show up as their authentic self, knowing that whatever that looks like that day is enough.
