Introduction

Hi, my name is Phoenix and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas and Louisiana with over 7 years of experience providing therapy services. I have worked with people challenged by depression, trauma, abuse, stress, anxiety, substance abuse, and life changing situations. I approach therapy through a client centered approach. I believe you are the expert of your life and determine the direction and depth of therapy. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, motivational interviewing, strengths-based approaches, and solution focused techniques to help clients identify their strengths and create treatment plans with obtainable goals. It is important to me to establish a safe, trusted, non judgemental, positive environment for my clients. My therapy style is warm and interactive and I meet you where you are using reflective questioning to guide our sessions. You are the most important part of the therapeutic relationship and we will work together to create a tailored treatment plan to help you reach your goals. Taking the first step to seek therapy can be intimidating and takes courage. I am proud of you for getting started and I am excited to work together in helping you meet your therapeutic goals and reach your greatest potential!
