Peyton is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and received her graduate degree in Social Work from Columbia University in City of New York. Peyton has experience providing services in a variety of settings including Infectious Disease and Pediatric healthcare centers, children’s group homes, and a Children’s Advocacy Center. Peyton’s clinical interests include anxiety, trauma, women’s issues, identity issues, LGBTQIA+ population concerns, sex positive and poly friendly therapy, and multiculturalism and diversity. Peyton enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults. Peyton’s style of therapy is influenced by Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Multicultural Therapy, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Outside of the therapy space, Peyton enjoys reading, traveling, gardening, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending time with her family and two Australian Shepherds, Sullivan and Sage.
