I work with you to witness. To witness your misunderstood, forgotten, loved, freed, avoided, lost, healed, wounded, unheard, and marginalized parts; the parts that make up the whole. Following your lead, we will put the pieces together to move with all of you and to create access into a deeper relationship with yourself and the relationships in your life. About me: I am Puerto Rican, Queer (he/they pronouns), and affirm anti-racism, social justice, sex work, disability, kink, consensual non-monogamy, polyamory, non-traditional relationships, sex and body love. I grew up in an inner city, have witnessed beauty in darkness, and I am deeply committed to holding space for you, even if you do not relate to parts of my identity or what I affirm. My style is rooted in how we as people in the world relate to ourselves, each other, and to the world we live with. My approach is body-based, non-directive, relational, existential, spiritual, and energetic. I commit myself as trauma-informed, to continuously cultivating cultural-humility, and to providing strengths based, yet reflective and challenging feedback when appropriate. I also offer other healing methods. This may look like practicing mindfulness and breathing techniques, exploring psychological concepts, exploring ancestral/deeply rooted energy within you, utilizing nature as a resource for healing, symbolism, music, art, rhythm, dance, and most importantly, giving voice to your lived experiences. My communication style is direct, compassionate, curious, and honest. My intention is to always authentically be in therapeutic relationship with you. I offer individual therapy and relationship therapy, primarily with adults. It’s important to me that we all have access to mental health services. I am able to offer 6-8 sliding scale spots requested as needed and when available. I also offer clinical supervision and/or consultation to mental health professionals, such as social workers and professional counselors.
