Introduction

My approach to therapy is rooted in connection and safety. I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship for healing and growth, and I strive to create a safe, accepting space for each of my clients. I approach therapy from a trauma-informed, psychodynamic perspective, exploring with clients how past experiences, attachment, and trauma have impacted them. I believe in the importance of acknowledging the whole self in the healing process, and I often incorporate ideas from Somatic Experiencing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into counseling. I am also trained in playtherapy and expressive arts, and I practice from an Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size (HAES) framework. I value the uniqueness of each individual and enjoy working with kids, teens, and adults. I would love to connect to see if we are a good fit!
