Are you a parent that is worried about your kid? Do you feel just as stuck as they are and unsure where to go or what to do? This is COMMON, and you are not alone. With 13+ years of experience working with children/adolescents and families, I can assure you that THINGS CAN GET BETTER! Whether you have a child that is struggling behaviorally or a teen that is struggling with anxiety/depression and shutting you out, I can help. I balance supporting the individual, while also strengthening relationships among family members. I am a national trainer for Multidimensional Family Therapy International (MDFT). Family therapy has been the main focus of my clinical work over the past 13 years. I have worked closely with many clinics throughout Wisconsin, providing in-home family therapy. I was trained as an MDFT therapist in 2011 and went on to become a supervisor and trainer in the evidence-based model. I have extensive experience providing psychotherapy to youth and parents, as well as training, teaching, and providing supervision to therapists. In addition, I have dedicated a portion of my clinical work to supporting the mental health of athletes at both the high school and collegiate levels. While performance and mindfulness training is part of things, focusing on individual well-being is a top priority. I offer a free 15-30 minute video consultation to meet one another and see if we would be a good fit.
