Introduction

Relationships are hard! If you're hurting, confused, or angry, I'm here to help. This is my specialty and the passion that drives my work. We all have such an immense capacity to love, but also to hurt. The chances are high that our experience of any degree of emotional disruption in our lives can be traced back to relationships in some way, shape, or form. Anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, low self-esteem, addiction.. these are all too familiar when we are struggling. Whether it's your partner, friend, parent, boss, or sibling, I can help you rediscover your strengths, find your way back to happiness, and help you thrive. I have a special interest in empowering women, people of color, and other marginalized communities to reclaim their relationships with themselves and others. I am bi-racial and bi-lingual (I speak Tagalog fluently) and practice from a multi-cultural and anti-oppressive lens. I enjoy working with individuals bringing to light relational issues, Family of Origin (FOO) difficulties, and life transitions. I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience. I have been in private practice for a little over 5 years, and in the years prior was working in community mental health in Honolulu, Hawaii. I work with adults and couples, with a focus on EFT and EFIT (Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy) through a strong person-centered lens. Like most therapists, I blend a variety of modalities in my practice with an emphasis on being attachment-based and emotion-focused. Together we will explore your relationships - both as an adult and as a child - and identify patterns that shape the lens through which you experience the world. I strive to always meet you where you are, be present, supportive, and help you achieve balance in every way I can. I'm here when you're ready.
