I am a psychologist whose doctoral training at Southern Methodist University focused intensely on research into the theoretical underpinnings of interventions and psychological assessment. I then served eight years as a military psychologist in the Air Force. During this time, I fine-tuned the application of theoretical principles to the individualization of evidence-based treatments for clients with diverse and often severe challenges. I was also intensely involved in the training and mentorship of early career behavioral health professionals, and served in various leadership capacities, the last of which was Director of Psychological Health at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. Above all, I have learned there is no degree of training which can compensate for genuine caring and understanding of a person. I will prioritize you, your goals, and your best interests to provide a solution that works for you.
