*ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS* My career in the behavioral health/substance use disorder industry began in 1997 at Foundations Sober Living Homes in San Diego, California which I owned for 10 years. Since that time, I realized I had to return to school in 2009 in order to fulfill my purpose in working with others. I earned my Associates Degree in Applied Sciences – Chemical Dependency at Rio Salado College, then I completed my Bachelor of Psychology at Grand Canyon University, and then a Master of Science in Addiction Counseling, also from Grand Canyon University. I’m happy to announce that I graduated with a second master’s degree in professional counseling from Ottawa University on 12/31/2021. I currently hold a license as an Arizona LASAC-Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor. I am dual licensed as a LAC-Licensed Associate Counselor. I began my clinical career in 2008, when I moved to Arizona from San Diego and started working on the clinical side of addiction and behavioral health treatment. I’ve worked in several residential and outpatient treatment facilities across Arizona both in the public and private sector.
