Introduction

Patrick is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and therapist in Tennessee and New York State. He believes in a faith and strengths-based approach to therapy. He has a particular interest in working with those who struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and co-occurring disorders. Patrick is a 23-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and has significant experience working with Veterans. Patrick is committed to building on people’s strengths to live their best lives. In his free time, Patrick enjoys spending time with family, hobby-farming, and the outdoors. Beverly Hensley began Stephen’s-Ministry, Inc. as a way to begin the healing process from the loss of her 19-year-old son in 2008. It started with journaling, posting to social media and over the years it has grown into what it is today. God has a plan. Her career began in nursing and in 2009 she transitioned to mental health, working in crisis. Beverly has worked crisis triage, crisis units, inpatient, detox, and continued working in the Jails until 2018. During this time, she began to work with her church to develop what now is SMI. Beverly worked along Dr. Vani and Dr. Marshall Xaiver, obtaining her Doctor of Divinity, Board certification of Professional Pastoral Counselors, State Certified Peer Specialist, Certified Genesis Counselor, Ordained Minister, Life Coach. She is currently seeking her Masters in Mental Health with Substance Abuse diseases. The past 2 years she has worked with the TN mental health and drug awareness faith-based community, where her church is a recovery congregation. She has served on the Board of Directors, and Advisor Board for other nonprofits. Beverly has over 30 years in Ministry as a pastor's wife, working with youth and children to include CASA. “Even though you have experienced trauma, you can move forward with your life. You can grow, become resilient, and have a meaningful life. Your life does not end because of trauma.” Beverly is a living Testimony! Steve Hensley is a minister with forty years of experience. For the last few years, he has worked alongside his pastor and the church’s ministry team at FPC Lexington, Tennessee. Steve has worked in children, youth, nursing homes and jail ministries. Steve has also pastored several churches. After losing his 19-year-old son Stephen in 2008, Steve has redirected his efforts to minister to those who are overcome with life’s hurts, habits and hangups. Steve is involved in recovery ministry, grief, and bereavement. He is involved in one on one and group support for those in need. Steve seeks further training and education in order to better serve each person and family.
