Introduction

Dr. Richardson is a licensed clinical psychologist who has practiced in Metro Detroit and the San Francisco Bay Area for over 10 years. She has expertise helping kids, teens, and adults improve their lives through evidence-based, cutting edge psychological treatment. She has trained at world-class institutions, including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Stanford University, and specializes in helping patients overcome anxiety, depression, school challenges, parenting stress, chronic pain (head, back, GI, & other pains), sleep concerns, physical symptoms (somatic, conversion/FNSD), and cope with chronic medical illness. Dr. Richardson is especially the person to call when you or your loved ones are facing more than one (or all) of the above. In addition to being the founder and clinical director of Bluebird Child & Family Psychology, Dr. Richardson holds faculty appointments at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital and Michigan State University. Her research examines how mobile mindfulness apps can help children and teens manage stress, worries, and pain.
