I strive to offer women, from the ages of 18 through 80 years of age, help in developing skills to cope with life struggles and to make positive and healthy changes; focus of treatment is the individual, developing goals and objectives that you determine are necessary for your healing and recovery. I can help you with issues with codependency, poor boundaries and communication in interpersonal relationships and recovery. I have experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, chemical dependency, PTSD and identity issues. I utilize Dialectical Behavioral Techniques in treatment, and aid clients in changing negative thoughts and/or destructive behaviors in self-acceptance and healthy behaviors, also using DBT workbooks and techniques. I provide an understanding and nonjudgmental environment and encourage the resilience which exists in each one of us.
