Introduction

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Connecticut and Texas with over a decade of experience working with individuals in various settings including hospitals, clinics, and private practice. I specialize in treating veterans, first responders, sexual assault survivors and individuals who have experienced distressing and/or traumatic events. I also have years of experience treating individuals who use avoidance to cope with stressors and adults who find it difficult to access all their emotions. I provide an insight-oriented approach to therapy that is grounded in several evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Prolonged Exposure (PE). The treatments used in therapy will assist you in finding relief from thoughts, memories and events that cause emotional distress and impact your daily functioning. I look forward to hearing from you!
