Over the past ten years I have worked within the community mental health field providing services to diverse populations experiencing severe persistent mental illness and chronic conditions, homelessness, and familial dysfunction in addition to being a registered behavior technician offering services to youth. In my experience, supporting mental health while navigating change involves a holistic perspective and a collaborative, client-centered approach to create a space where individuals, couples, or families can gain awareness of their own strengths, tools and resources. I enjoy using different modalities such as art, humor, clips/podcasts and other external resources to actively engage beyond talk therapy and explore what resonates with you.
