Patience (she/her) graduated from the Arizona State University School of Social Work in 2017. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, she is passionate about working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and advocating for social justice at a personal level. Patience has extensive experience in child welfare systems and inpatient and outpatient addiction recovery. Patience practices from a trauma-informed perspective, regularly utilizes CBT, DBT, solution-focused, and mindful/grounding therapy. She specializes in dual diagnosis (both mental health and substance abuse together). She also has expertise in supporting individuals through religious trauma, helping clients navigate the complexities of healing from these experiences while fostering a meaningful spiritual identity.
