Introduction

I knew that I wanted to be a part of the helping profession since I was a child. In high school I realized that I wanted to work with children but it was not until grad school that I learned the best way to help children is to work with families. In addition to working with children, families, and couples, I also enjoy working with clients of various diversity statues. Since then I have worked the people of all ages and have especially enjoyed working those of minority statuses. In therapy I use humor, motivational interviewing, CBT, and systems theories to help my clients work through their difficulties.
