Introduction

Welcome! I know how important the choice of a counselor can be, so thank you for wanting to get to know me better. My name is Pamela, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC #79728) in the state of Texas. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I am currently trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for treating traumatic experiences. I have advanced training in EMDR therapy protocols for early intervention and ongoing traumatic stress. I am committed to helping individuals, families, and groups learn how to make peace with their past and rise in hope and healing in the present. I work in a teletherapy environment and conduct in-person sessions, making therapy accessible to all people. My work focuses on helping people overcome their limiting beliefs, fear of past trauma, and painful decisions that lead to depression, anxiety, and anger, etc., by dealing with root causes to their behaviors. We can create new choices that restore relationships and healthier thought patterns. I believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and work closely and rely upon the work of the Holy Spirit in all my interactions with clients, while still respecting each person's beliefs and values. Please send an appointment request if you would like to schedule a session with me. I look forward to meeting with you in the future!
