“We as humans, are wired for connection. Therefore, in the hard moments of life we need someone to walk alongside us through the journey helping us move towards the other side while feeling heard, supported, and never alone.” Pam has additional training in Betrayal Trauma for partners of sexually addicted individuals through APSATS.org. She has also completed level 1 and 2 from the Gottman Institute, a research-based approach to relationships. She is certified with the American Association of Suicidology as a Psychological Autopsy Investigator. Her work experience ranges from four years to senior adults in managed care, private practice, and school environments. Her personal experiences with childhood adversity, "me too," breast cancer, betrayal, child of divorce, and a divorce survivor and thriver give her the ability to connect with others in a compassionate and genuine way. Providing mental health therapy is a second career for Pam, as she worked in the dental field for 26 years. Pam feels very fortunate to have found two careers she is very passionate about. During her years in dentistry, she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health Care Management, from Franklin University and her Master of Science in Education majoring in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton. She is independently licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Pam enjoys spending time with her family and friends; along with being outdoors, gardening, research, reading, exercise, and visiting the ocean every chance she gets.
