Introduction

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I utilize my training and experience in Mindfulness, EMDR, Trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, to create unique and tailored treatments for you. As a therapist, I strive to help individuals (and couples) through life’s challenges in a safe, genuine, and nonjudgmental environment. I support and respect all gender identities and expressions, cultures, religious and spiritual beliefs, and sexual orientations. My goal when working with you is to provide a safe space to process emotions, learn skills, and build confidence in all areas of your life. I believe that your thoughts and feelings will directly impact your behaviors and daily functioning, and at times may require guidance in ways to cope with and reduce the distress and challenges. “If we can share our story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding, shame can’t survive.” - Brené Brown
