My approach is client-centered, supportive, and strength-based. I believe that with the help of a strong therapeutic alliance, individuals are able to explore the underlying beliefs and narratives that keep them in behavioral patterns and, ultimately, form new perspectives. I specialize in working with young adults who experience symptoms of anxiety and depression as they begin to navigate the stressors of early adulthood and life transitions. I have experience treating both substance use and mental health disorder diagnoses using evidence based treatment modalities including CBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. I am also trained in working with parents and spouses who are concerned about a loved one's substance use. I have extensive experience providing therapy and coaching using the CRAFT model (Community Reinforcement and Family Training) to assist family members and concerned significant others in learning ways to manage this incredibly stressful journey. Please note that I am only offering telehealth services at this time.
