Dr. Olivia D. Beers, PsyD (she/her) is a founder and clinician at Person-Centered Psychological Services, where she provides neuropsychological assessments. Dr. Beers approaches testing from a person-centered approach, which focuses on collaborating with her clients to find the answers and solutions they seek. She specializes in evaluations for movement disorders, Parkinson’s Disease, ADHD, dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, psychological and mood-related disorders, and pre-surgical candidates for bariatric, spinal cord stimulator, and gender confirmation procedures. Dr. Beers received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Neuropsychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Beers completed her clinical psychology doctoral internship at Veteran Affairs in Nebraska-Western Iowa, where she received general training in mental illness and specialized training in primary care mental health integration, neuropsychological testing, and neurobiological study and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorders. She received additional graduate training from the University of Chicago Medicine Department of Psychiatry and is pursuing her prescriptive privileges with a post-graduate degree program in clinical psychopharmacology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Beers has presented her research at various conferences, has received multiple honors and awards for continuing research, and is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field. She has received continued education in various fields, including externally affiliated accelerated cultural competence and neuroanatomical dissection courses.
