Introduction

I am Oli Soto, LCSW, and I proudly serve as the Clinical Director at Latinx Talk Therapy. Life is a tapestry woven with our experiences and circumstances, both welcome and unwelcome, within and beyond our control. The ebbs and flows of life's stresses can be transformative, propelling us towards our aspirations or burdening us with self-doubt, indecision, and strained relationships. In times when these burdens overwhelm us or our coping mechanisms falter, therapy becomes a guiding light. You don't need to traverse this journey alone; I'm here to offer my assistance. Whether in person or virtually, my clinical approach is rooted in psychodynamics, strength-based strategies, and trauma-informed care. But, above all, my primary mission is to create a safe haven to understand you better: What are your strengths? What fuels your hope and tranquility? What holds paramount importance to you? Together, we'll craft a roadmap to navigate life's challenges, and I'll be there to support you along the way. I specialize in working with individuals of all ages, couples, families, caregivers, and those dealing with issues such as depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, and loss. I firmly believe that psychotherapy is a gift to oneself, and I'm committed to making it accessible to all. Therapy is not just a coping tool; it's a vehicle for personal growth, and I'll assist you in applying our insights to your daily life. As a bilingual and bicultural therapist fluent in English and Spanish, I draw from my experience in family dynamics, couples therapy, gender identity, eating disorders, self-esteem, domestic and sexual abuse, work-related challenges, aging, and life transitions. Additionally, I deeply respect the significance of religion and spirituality in many lives. With a master's degree from the University of Chicago, School of Social Service Administration, and a license as a clinical social worker, I'm here to guide you on your path to healing and growth.
