I am a seasoned and empathetic Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I've worked individuals, groups, as well as with struggling adolescents and families in wilderness therapy, therapeutic boarding school, and residential treatment settings. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. I love working with adults, teens, and families. Inspiring effort and transformations are what continually draw me to this work. I'm passionate about guiding people in their healing and growth. I bring a curious, non-judgemental approach to my work while utilizing: mindfulness, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, 7 Challenges, Positive Psychology, CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), Internal Family Systems, and Attachment Theory. I was raised at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains. I enjoy being active and getting outside. You’ll find me playing tennis, cycling, hiking, paddle boarding, or snowshoeing in my free time. I also like a good yard project to (hopefully) add beauty and be more water-wise. My wife and I love traveling and playing with our Miniature Schnauzer (Pancho).
