Introduction
As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, I provide psychotherapy, counseling and consultation services to adults. My practice includes many people feeling depressed, discouraged, anxious, or seem to be unable to make progress as they should. My approach is recovery oriented and strength based. I focus on instilling hope in individuals and families to help achieve health and wellness, lead a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential. I adapt my approach using mix of techniques for individual specific challenges and goals. Identifying and building on strengths; tailoring treatment based on your unique needs. Talking honestly about your life with someone who can provide a calming perspective can make all the difference. We will work together to develop pace that you can manage, to challenge you only to the degree that is helpful to you. Working together, we can set you up for success. I have training in several treatments modalities but specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Trauma Informed care, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). My peaceful lakeside office has a 24 hour in person answering service.
