Introduction

Life often presents us with daunting obstacles that can leave us feeling isolated, anxious, invalidated, and uncertain about the path forward. The idea of ever feeling better might seem like an elusive dream, taunting our insecurities. But what if I told you that you possess the inner strength to transform that dream into reality? What if you discovered a wellspring of self-compassion that radiates love and positivity, infectiously touching the lives of those around you? Hello, I'm Nicole/Nikki Schryer, a Licensed Counselor and Art Therapist with more than a decade of experience in guiding individuals on their journey towards healing and self-discovery. Over the years, I've achieved my Professional Clinical Counselor License, Supervision Designation, and Registered Art Therapist License. I am Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. My toolkit includes specialized approaches like Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Affective Family Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AF-CBT). I'm here to provide you with the tools and strategies to nurture a more positive mindset and healthier behaviors, tailored to your unique circumstances. My professional journey has led me to work with both children and adults in diverse settings, including offices, communities, and schools. I promise to engage in ongoing growth and learning within the counseling field, ensuring that I can support my individuals effectively in various aspects of your lives. I want to recognize that you are taking the courageous step towards healing and self-restoration. Your strength is admirable, and together, we will harness that strength to cultivate self-love and compassion. Whether you're navigating life transitions, grappling with grief, seeking ways to enhance your relationships, or could use some guidance as a parent, I'm here to provide a safe space where trust and positive communication can thrive. Your journey toward a more fulfilling relationship with yourself and others begins here and now. I am truly honored to be a part of your healing process, just as others have been a guiding light on my own path to wellness.
