My clients are individuals who want to live more wholeheartedly, regain a sense of safety and cultivate support. Clients gain awareness of their unhealthy (or unhelpful) thoughts and behavior patterns and work to disrupt them. Clients will also learn how their bodies respond to stress or trauma, and together we will identify ways to release that energy to promote mind-body healing. I work with any individual who is curious and open to the therapy experience! And I have an affinity for working with historically disenfranchised peoples (Black, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, and/or Multi-Racial Groups). I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in trauma-focused CBT, mindfulness and somatics. I’m currently an Advanced Level student in the Somatic Experiencing professional training program, as well as a student in an accredited Sex Therapy certification program. My professional experience spans more than 10 years and I have worked within community behavioral health systems, public schools and higher education, Indigenous healthcare, and now private practice.
