My name is Niki Worthan. I am a Master's level Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) and Mental Health, Trauma, and Victim Services provider. I received my Bachelor's in Human Services (Mental Health Counseling) from MSU Denver, and my Master's Degree in Psychology and second Master's education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University. I am a Victim Advocate; I promote empowerment, and invest in helping people recover from trauma and violence. I have been in this field for 14 years and am a member in good standing with the American Counseling Association, a Board Associate Member of the American Society for Addiction Medicine, and a member in good standing with NAADAC Association for Addiction Professionals. My passion is working with addiction, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders, such as those who suffer from anxiety, depression, and many other mental health disorders that can make someone feel hopeless and isolated from their "authentic self" and from society. I also work with families of individuals and couples who are struggling with communication and hardships and/or understanding their loved ones. I am open to discuss whatever comes up for you or whatever you feel you need relief from. I am here to help! I am here to listen!
