My name is Niesha Perry, M.Ed,LPCC-S, LICDC-CS. I earned my Bachelors degree in psychology from Rio Grande University located in Rio Grande, Ohio in 2006. In 2011 I earned my Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health from Kent State University located in Kent, Ohio. I specialize in providing both mental health and substance abuse counseling for children, adolescents and adults. I specialize in Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing. I also integrate other theoretical approaches. I have provided counseling services in residential, outpatient and school settings. My areas of competence include but are not limited to depression, post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, ADHD, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder and disruptive mood disorder. I offer a calm and comforting environment to allow clients to feel open and accepted. I specialize in providing support for individuals in need to healing and growth. We will work together to build self confidence, trust and resiliency. I am flexible with my client's schedules to meet all needs.
