Introduction

Dually licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in both Florida and Illinois, Dr. DeLeo has also been a Diplomat with the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress since 2011. She is the founder of Fort Lauderdale Psychology and Heartland Psychology. With over 18 years of clinical training and treatment experience, Dr. DeLeo serves to provide effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. Academically, Dr. DeLeo achieved a doctorate in clinical psychology and masters in mental health counseling from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. DeLeo treats a number of mental health conditions and provides her clinical expertise to individuals looking to improve the overall quality of their lives including but not limited to those struggling with anxiety disorders, depressive conditions, a full spectrum of eating disorders, complex post-traumatic stress disorders, and relationship issues. She holds a special interest in assisting high achievers (i.e. students), entrepreneurs, first responders, and physicians to restore and maintain their psychological well-being Dr. DeLeo believes everyone deserves a private space to explore their inner most emotional experiences. Dr. DeLeo hopes to hold that space for you as you strive towards greater personal understanding, growth, and well-being.
