Introduction

Congratulations on taking steps towards finding a therapist and down the path of healing and self discovery. I am here to be your guide and support you through the process. I have experience working with a wide variety of people from all walks of life and with many different struggles, so chances are I can support you with what you are going through. This can mean depression or anxiety or more specific stuff like managing emotions or sorting through your thoughts. I work with both teens and adults across the life span. In my career I have gained experience working with teens and adults who might be having more significant mental health challenges. This can include things like thoughts of self harm, difficulty with regulating emotions, and interpersonal difficulties. I also work with family members of those who have significant struggles. In my work with teens, I have supported those going through challenges related to their gender and sexual identities. I am trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and TEAM-CBT, which is a specific style of CBT that works from a place of empathy and meeting you where you are at. I tend to take a skill building approach, so those I work with can understand their problems better and make fundamental changes in their lives. I am trained to work with and diagnose those with OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and use ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) treatment. LGBTQIA+ friendly. I look forward to meeting with you and seeing if we will be a good fit to work together.
