Introduction
I believe therapy is for everyone and that it can address anything; there is no topic off the table! I hold the perspective that you as the client are the expert and know what is right for you. As your therapist, I will meet you where you are at and help you achieve your goals. To foster you in your pursuit of growth, recovery, and wellness I will create a safe space and build a strong relationship with you. My approach has been described as warm, nonjudgmental, and individualized. I enjoy colorful language and encourage those that work with me to speak without worries about having to censor themselves. I utilize humor and creativity in my sessions. My specialties include trauma, sex/sexuality, and substance use. I am trained in EMDR, TFCBT, and CPT to address trauma. I utilize harm reduction and motivational interviewing for substance use. I am currently pursuing AASECT certification as a sex therapist and will also receive special training to address things such as kink, nonmonogamy, affirmative care, achieving pleasure, and out of control sexual behaviors.
