For some, stepping into therapy is the first time they have experienced being heard; wholly, genuinely, and comprehensively. We live in an overly stimulated, world, even while we hide from a virus. The amount of content we engage with daily has most people overloaded and unfocused. Which means, most of the time, most of us are not truly listened to. The initial experience of being heard, can have a profound effect on one’s life. That is where we will begin. In a space with empathic listening, with acceptance and without judgement. Aside from therapy, I am also an artist and Mindfulness (MBSR) Teacher, with a ten-year former career in the major label sector of the music industry in Los Angeles and Nashville. I'm sensitive to the creative soul, identity exploration & understand the mindset of those who consider themselves creative and achievement oriented. What inspires me creatively, spiritually, and poetically is at the intersection of psychology, Buddhist & Sufi philosophy, Persian Mysticism, secular principles of Mindfulness, Nonviolence™, art & music making, with the ebb and flow of the ocean, the depth of the forest, and the many different cultures and colors of human spirit.
