The mission of Restore & Recover is to provide confidential and person-specific therapy to those struggling with a variety of issues that modern life brings. Since 1999, I have been working in the social services field. During the past 25 years, mental health and addictions treatment has changed dramatically. This has taught me that there is no "One Size Fits All" treatment style. After receiving my Masters degree from Indiana University in 2006, I was given the opportunity to work in one of Indianapolis' inner city hospitals. I have always accredited this time in my life as being where I truly learned how to be a therapist. After time spent there, I moved into a more specialized role in addictions treatment. As well as a leadership role in Hamilton County with a local community mental health agency and then moved into my private practice career. I am not the most traditional therapist. I am laid back while also direct. My hope is that when you enter my office you feel at-home, having a comfortable chat with a friend while receiving the benefits of a skilled clinician. When providing any treatment, but especially substance abuse treatment, I believe strongly that my role is not to tell you what to do, but to help motivate you to make the changes you know you need. I believe that there are many roads that can get us to the destination we desire. I hope to help guide you there as quickly and painlessly as possible. I provide evidence-based treatment for depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, trauma, adjustment disorders, stress management, addictions (including Suboxone maintenance) as well as court-ordered treatment. I have worked with those in the LGBTQ+- community through out entire career. I also provide substance abuse assessments for both court-ordered clients as well as EAP. Today you are one step closer to a new you where you feel empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being.
