Introduction

I believe that we live in a complex world of beauty and brokenness. There is no promise from God that we will escape pain or suffering in this life, but we do have the promise that this world is not all that there is-which gives us hope! My goal is to come alongside you in your suffering while encouraging you towards growing in hope and healing. Relationships are important and I care deeply about my clients and I strive to bring light to my client's strengths to help them face their challenges and start feeling better. I have experience in a variety of issues, but consider my specialty areas to be managing depression and anxiety, relational issues, and grief. Treatment is a collaborative process designed to meet your unique needs. I help clients understand emotions and difficulties, learn coping skills, and examine unhelpful thought patterns that impact their happiness. My unique life experiences have equipped me to work with a diverse population of hurting people. I am fluent in Spanish and have experience providing bilingual therapy. My approach to counseling is eclectic and includes person-centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and relational.
