Introduction

Hi, my name is Nicole and I am so glad you are here! I help individuals and families invest in their minds and find balance in their lives. You're driven and successful yet you struggle with bouts of anxiety, depression, triggers from unhealed trauma and general feelings of loneliness, inadequacy or feeling stuck or lost. You want to feel like 'you' again or maybe you want to feel differently all together because feeling like 'you' has never felt good. You can have control over choices in your mindset. You can have the power to choose how you respond to what you are feeling. You can find your balanced mind and take your power back. I am a trauma informed, client centered and collaborative therapist who believes, above all else, at the root of a healthy and balanced mind and relationship with yourself and others is the ability to finally feel a sense of control and believe you have the power to make choices in how you respond to the never-ending circumstances, good, bad or otherwise, that life throws your way. My goal in our work together is to be a sounding board for you; to help you feel connected, heard and understood in a safe and secure way as a starting place to begin your healing and self-growth. My goal is to walk alongside you in your journey and help you find new and beautiful stops along the way because the roadmap belongs to you. I will help you uncover what already makes you feel amazing, worthy and whole and I will be your partner in safely challenging ideas and thoughts keeping you feeling stuck and powerless. I will help you learn practical skills to help you take back your control and find balance. I believe therapy is a process, and self-growth is a process, sometimes lifelong, and that's OKAY! Acknowledging this truth and finding space to have support makes you strong not weak, contrary to what our society says. This is okay because we are constantly learning and developing as people through experiences in our lives and are always busy encountering new seasons of life that bring both new joys and new challenges. We are not static individuals; we are meant to change! When we feel a sense of control over how we respond to change, we are powerful! I believe that therapy and ultimately the change that you seek from therapy takes commitment, dedication and true work, and when you find yourself ready to do the work, you will be truly unstoppable! When you are ready to do the work, I am here to be your partner along the way. I am a realistic yet validating, hopeful and encouraging therapist, I believe in you and I can't wait for you to believe in yourself too!
