Relationships are the foundation of our lives. Through the quality of our connections with those we care about, we can feel as though we are thriving or they can leave us feeling isolated and alone. Working to strengthen or rebuild connections with others and with ourselves is extremely important to creating a sense of support and acceptance. If our foundation feels secure and safe, we can then allow ourselves to thrive in other areas of our lives. I have special training in relational therapy and how to strengthen these "systems" and the influence they have on our lives. I believe human beings are very resilient, often more than we give ourselves credit for. We can break down barriers that we thought we could never make it through, and we can achieve things we could barely allow ourselves to dream of doing. While these things may seem impossible at times, I believe we are capable of much greater things than we may think possible. In sessions, I like to use a more direct approach and have an interactive feedback style. This is often a blend of theory and questions designed to help get us to our goals. I also have special training in trauma and EMDR which can be used for individuals, children, and couples. OFFICE LOCATION: 2020 N Academy Blvd, #284 Colorado Springs, CO 80909
