I believe therapy is like learning a new language. Therapy can help us better communicate our live’s narratives, help us navigate our relationships, and overcome any mental health challenges we’ve been facing. By actively participating in therapy, we develop the ability to translate our internal experiences so that we can get in touch with ourselves in deeper and more meaningful ways. In our work together, I hope to help you develop a new vocabulary to combat past traumas, explore your hopes and desires, and express your emotions in a productive and healthy way. As your therapist, I intend to be by your side as we learn and explore the language of your life. I promise to do so while providing a safe, supportive, and collaborative space. My goal is ultimately to work with clients as they find their voices and master their own personal dialects. I hope to help my clients articulate what they are looking for from their life and relationships, so that they are able to cultivate a life full of value and intention. While I draw from many styles of therapy, I believe in using a solution-focused approach to maximize on your strengths.
