Introduction

I know asking for help can be hard, especially if you identify as Black, Brown, or Immigrant. Having provided mental wellness events for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), as well as for brands/companies such as Essence and Huffington Post, I also understand how difficult it can be for public figures to seek help. If you are feeling "stuck" or constantly fear the worst thing happening, have experienced or witnessed traumatic events, or have difficulty in a romantic or professional relationship, I can help. Your decision to seek help from a Therapist is a sign of courage and self-awareness, not weakness. Our therapeutic relationship will help you gain awareness for life events and generational patterns that are influencing present day concerns. You will also develop new coping skills to feel more at peace and confident in your daily life. Your therapy sessions will include a relational approach that is inclusive, anti-oppressive and trauma informed. Though I am competent in many treatment approaches and trained in EMDR, I will collaborate with you to determine the best approach for your therapy. You do not have to "hit rock bottom" to begin therapy. Whether you are new to therapy, have benefited from therapy in the past, or you are currently a practicing Therapist, give yourself permission to now include therapy as part of your healthy life plan now.
