I specialize in working with those struggling with addictions and trauma. However, I come from a therapeutic background which considers the root of most mental health and behavioral problems to be stem from the same fundamental places. As such, I take an approach to therapy that can be helpful in treating a broad variety of difficulties. This involves helping you notice and change the patterns that dominate your life. To do this, you and I will be looking at your experience as it unfolds in the present moment, while developing an understanding of the past experiences shaping it. I utilize a trauma centered approach, integrating aspects of Compassionate Inquiry, Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), psychodynamic, and somatic (body based) work. We'll work together to uncover some of the unspoken beliefs you have been harboring about yourself and the world; beliefs which may have been shaping your perspective for years without your awareness.
