Introduction

Hi, I am so glad you are here. I am Niamh, an Austin based therapist. I specialize in person-centered, music therapy to help guide you, your child or teen through life's most complex challenges. I believe deeply in the power of human connection and the impact this has on how we move through the world. Music therapy is a place to explore and better understand ourselves. Through the languages of music, expressive arts and talk we will work towards a life that feels more easeful. I am a board-certified music therapist with advanced experience in trauma. Since 2014 I have been serving adolescents and children, working with them toward improved emotional and psychological health and wellbeing. Within the therapeutic relationship I will meet you where you are at and provide a space for you to discover things about yourself and your world that empower you. You are the expert in you and your experiences and you are welcome here just as you are. I offer initial phone consults so you can learn more about me and my approach and see if we are a good fit.
