Introduction

Melissa Danan Rilko, LMSW As lead therapist and founder of NewView, Ms. Rilko brings with her over twenty-five years of experience in the mental health care field. Melissa received a Master of Social Work degree from Wayne State University in 1995.  She began her career working at Henry Ford Health System on the trauma and neurology units. Over the next two decades she has offered clinical support to children, adolescents and adults in medical, residential and private practice settings.  She has been a national speaker on topics of secondary trauma and parenting and has developed an anti-bullying policy for the department of labor. Stacy Colias, LMSW  Ms. Colias joined NewView in 2021. She has over eighteen years of social work experience working with adults, children and families. Stacy received a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan in 1996.  For more than a decade, Stacy worked in both inpatient and outpatient medical settings with pediatric and adult patients.  She has spent time working with teams in the ICU, home hospice program, and the organ transplant program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.  Since returning to Ann Arbor, she has provided counseling to students and adults in-person and virtually.    Lauren Cunnane, LLMSW Ms. Cunnane joined the staff at NewView in 2021. She is a social worker with over thirteen years of experience working with individuals, groups and communities.  Lauren received a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2009.  She has extensive experience working directly with individuals with physical and mental health disparities as well as implementing programs for domestic violence survivors, homeless populations, refugees, seniors and veterans among others.  Over the course of her career, Lauren has advocated on a state and federal level for policies supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illness and families living in poverty.
