I am a mental health therapist with 5 years of clinical experience. Throughout my educational career, I have proudly obtained a bachelors degree in Psychology and a masters degree in Professional Counseling Psychology. My clinical and practical orientation has been built around Cognitive-Behavioral therapy and it's therapeutic techniques. I specialize in working with children, teens, and adults who struggle with ADHD, Disruptive Behavior disorders, Social Skills deficits, Anxiety, Selective Mutism and Depression. I also focus much of my practice helping to train parents and coach them in implementing evidence-based Positive Parenting Skills, in order to help reduce problematic behaviors that they experience from their child at home. In this, I also teach the importance of how a close and strong relationship with ones child can make a significant difference in their child's behaviors at home. Throughout my time practicing therapy, I have witnessed how my own positive and alliance building approach to treatment has enhanced my relationship with families and individual patients. Because of this, I have been able to build great trust and see very steady and positive results from my therapeutic approaches. Mental health is such an important component to a person's life. Without a healthy mind, it is difficult to maintain a stable and healthy life balance. What I love most about being a therapist is being able to connect with wonderful people in the community, help families reconnect and cope in a healthy and loving way, and teaching important and reliable coping skills to help those struggling to deal with life's hardest challenges. God gives me courage and strength to help you and your family, and I look forward to getting started on your mental health journey and making your life better!
