Dr. Gorman has over 15 years of experience working with adults, couples, teens/emerging adults and seniors. His specialties include life transitions, family conflict, parenting challenges and existential/spiritual questions. As a practicing Lacanian analyst, Dr. Gorman works from a psychoanalytically informed point of view, listening for what is happening under the surface. Through his process, patients begin to listen to themselves differently and put into words what feels unsayable. By drawing attention to the patient’s response to daily desires and demands, Dr. Gorman and his patients co-create space for those innermost beliefs, often hidden and originating from family history and lived experience, to emerge. When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Gorman enjoys running, keeping up with his three young kids and podcasting.
