Introduction

I became a therapist because I have personally faced the profound challenges of mental health since my early youth and have spent the past 13 years in therapy myself. As a Persian American with immigrant parents, I also experienced discrimination that contributed to my mental health struggles. Mental illness runs in my family, and watching both my own struggles and those of my loved ones has deeply moved me. These experiences have inspired me to dedicate my career to helping individuals and their families find peace and healing through therapy. I specialize in working with minority groups, trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders. It is my heartfelt mission to provide the same understanding and support that made a difference in my life, fostering resilience and well-being for everyone who walks through my door. I am deeply committed to helping you honor your authentic self, guiding you towards inner peace and a life filled with meaning. I believe in creating a safe, empathetic space where you can explore your true identity and unlock your full potential. In our work together, I am dedicated to helping you discover your self-worth and embrace the value that you inherently possess. With a warm and compassionate approach, I will support you in overcoming any challenges and discovering a life that feels genuinely worthwhile. Together, we will embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth, fostering resilience and well-being every step of the way. I look forward to working with clients who are introspective and willing to engage in the self-work necessary for creating lasting, positive change. I particularly enjoy supporting individuals and couples navigating the complexities of trauma and its impact on their lives and relationships. Additionally, I work well with those dealing with codependency, helping them to embrace their authentic selves and develop healthier, more fulfilling connections. I have a strong affinity for working with LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, providing a safe and affirming space where they can explore their unique experiences and challenges. My goal is to provide a compassionate and empowering environment where each client can grow, heal, and thrive.
