Why Therapy? Often times, individuals and families struggle with issues beyond understanding or don't have an individual to provide an unbiased approach to life's problems. Sometimes those seeking therapy have a support system that doesn't know how to best assist in their issues. Some individuals don't have a support system and need help navigating isolation. Some couples want to feel heard, validated, and respected by their partner and struggle with communication. Therapy can provide a safe place for positive regard to occur as individuals, families, and couples work to achieve healthier approaches to a majority of life's problems. During therapy, we will attempt to understand patterns and connections to the current issues you or your family may be facing. Then, we will come up with a plan on how to address these issues. Sometimes, all it takes is a third party to have a good look at the current state of things to determine minor or major changes that you or your family can take. In all, my hope is that I can share in your journey to discover the meaning in your life and create a space for positive change to occur. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have about the therapy process, and if I cannot help, I will do my best to point you in the direction of someone who can. What I Do I provide individual, couples, and family therapy for adults and adolescents in order to assist in family, career, and personal issues. We will attempt to understand these issues together through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, logotherapy, and other treatment modalities, depending on your circumstances.
