Introduction

Hello! My name is Nathan Staggs and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Associate. I have been in the mental health field since 2011 and have a strong passion for helping individuals and families through the challenges that life throws our way. One of the main things I have learned through my career is that the mental health system can be extremely overwhelming and complex to navigate. Even when we decide we want to work on ourselves, the system makes it too difficult. That is why I wanted to dedicate my practice to helping those that are ready for the journey and walk along side them through their healing. I am committed to creating a safe space for whatever challenges you are going through. My practice is open to all ages, however I have focused my past clinical work on children and adolescents. I have a complex trauma certification and focused many of my previous career ventures on working with youth and families in either the foster care system or with highly acute and complex behavioral health needs. My approach is collaborative and designed to help my clients set goals and achieve them, drawing from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy, and Psychotherapy. By working together, we can uncover strengths, develop coping strategies, and foster meaningful change in your life. Making the decision to seek out therapy is a huge step. By making it to my website, you have already tackled one of the biggest barriers. I am accepting new clients currently and have flexible scheduling options. There is never a question not worth asking, so if you want to inquire more, feel free to reach out. I offer 20 minute consultations if you would like to explore more and am also open to phone calls if you want to reach out and ask some initial questions. I look forward to the possibility of accompanying you on your journey! Due to my practice being solely private pay, I will write Super Bills for insurance and I work with a company called Mentaya that can do your out of network billing for you. If finances are a barrier to you addressing your mental health, I do offer sliding scale fees for some of my clients. We all deserve to be able to access the supports we need!
