Introduction

I believe that each and every one of us faces our own unique challenges and transitions throughout our lifetime. Sometimes these changes may become too much and it interferes with our daily lives and how we function and/or interact in our relationships. I specialize working with adults who are going through change in their life which may include loss or bereavement, loss of relationship or divorce, change in role (i.e., parenthood, retirement, caregiving, etc), significant change in health, career change, relocation, etc. I also support individuals that may experience depression, anxiety and trauma/PTSD. I offer a safe and respectful space for you to build self-awareness and acceptance, to enhance your strengths, and to help you develop effective coping skills to reduce symptoms and promote growth. I see therapy as a collaborative and mutually engaging process that is anchored with trust and openness. I incorporate skills from CBT, ACT, CPT, and MBCT. The therapeutic relationship can play a significant role in an individual's experience in therapy. Therefore, I will take the time to discuss what prompted you to reach out and any concerns you have about the process in order to ease your mind and to help you determine if it feels like the right fit.
