Dr. Natalie Vona is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Colorado. She obtained her Bachelor's in Psychology at the State University of New York at Oswego, and her Master’s in Counseling Psychology at Northeastern University in Boston. She worked for 2 years as an Early Intervention clinician (home-based services for children 0-3 who were at risk developmentally, socially, and/or emotionally), before returning to Northeastern University for her Doctorate. Dr. Vona completed her internship and post-doctoral training at Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins Hospital working with children, adolescents and families in inpatient and outpatient settings. Her training also included: Providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) at MacLean Hospital Inpatient Adolescent Unit; completing neuropsychological evaluations at a state hospital in Boston; providing psychological services to children and families at Dana Farber Cancer Institute/ Boston Children's Hospital; and working as a school psychologist in the Baltimore City schools. She has been in private practice in the Denver area for the last 12 years. She has a specialty working with children, adolescents and families, and a sub-specialty in pediatric sleep disorders. Dr. Vona lives in Denver with her husband, 4 children, and 3 dogs. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis, working out, spending time with friends and family, and watching live music.
